This page explains how personal information is handled when you visit the website, send an enquiry or book with Polished by Esther.
What is collected
When you send an enquiry or book, your name, contact details, message, appointment details and deposit payment information may be collected through the website and the GoHighLevel booking system. Design photos you send are used only to plan your appointment.
How it is used
Your details are used to answer your enquiry, manage your booking, send appointment reminders, and share the studio address the day before your appointment. Your details are not sold or shared for advertising.
Optional marketing updates
The enquiry form includes a separate, optional checkbox for appointment and offer updates by email or SMS. Leaving it unticked does not stop you from sending a question or receiving a reply. If you opt in, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Website providers
The main website is hosted with Vercel and uses typefaces stored with the site. The enquiry form is provided by GoHighLevel and loads its own resources. These providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, when the website or form loads. Information you submit through the enquiry form is handled in GoHighLevel.
Payments, storage and retention
The website does not store your card details. When online deposits are activated, payment information will be handled by the payment provider shown in the booking checkout. Enquiry, booking and consent records may be stored in GoHighLevel and related business email records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, and keep an accurate consent record.
The studio address
The studio is in a private home. The address is never published on this website and is only sent to confirmed clients the day before their appointment. Please do not share it publicly.
Photos of your nails
I may photograph your finished hands and nails and share anonymous photos on this website and Instagram.
I will keep your face, name and tags out of nail photos. If another detail could identify you, such as a distinctive tattoo, I will leave it out or ask for your explicit permission before taking or sharing the photo.
I will explain the photo choices when you book and remind you before taking photos. You can decline when booking or at any time during your appointment.
If you say no, I will not take or share photos of your nails. Your choice will not affect your appointment or the service you receive.
