What to expect

I see one client at a time. We’ll plan your set around the length, shape, colour and design you have in mind. For a builder gel or BIAB overlay, I work with your natural nails without adding extensions.

Send me your inspiration before the appointment so I can check what is achievable. Please also tell me about any allergies, sensitivities or past reactions to nail products.

I’ll check in with you as I work. If you’d like a change to the shape, colour or design, please tell me during the appointment.

Caring for your nails

Apply cuticle oil daily, and wear protective gloves when cleaning, washing dishes or gardening. Please don’t use your nails as tools or pick or peel off the product.

If you notice lifting, cracking or discomfort, contact me promptly. I recommend maintenance every two to three weeks, depending on your nail growth and the service you’ve had.

Questions about builder gel or BIAB

Does this service add length?

No. I apply this overlay to your natural nails to add strength, without extensions. For extra length, take a look at my Gel X service.

Can I choose nail art?

Yes. Your base service includes plain colour. Nail art costs extra, and I’ll confirm the right tier after looking at your inspiration.

Can you work over another salon’s product?

I only work on bare nails or product I applied. Please arrange for another technician’s product to be removed elsewhere before your appointment.

Do you offer maintenance or removal?

Yes, I offer both for my own work. Please ask me to confirm which option to book and what it will cost.
